Arrive in Delhi late in the evening. Transfer and check-in into the hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 02: In Delhi
Proceed for the full day city tour. Visit the Raj Ghat and Shanti
Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru,
Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. In the
afternoon visit Qutub Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War
Memorial Arch), Lakshmi-Narayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also
drive past the President's House, Parliament House, Government
Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place. Overnight stay at Delhi.
DAY 03: Delhi / Jaipur
Check out for early morning drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, transfer
and check-in into hotel. Evening is free time to enjoy the city
atmosphere, which by any means is fabulous. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
DAY 04: In Jaipur
Proceed for full day city tour. Start the tour with the Elephant
ride at Amber Fort followed Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar-Royal
Observatory, City Palace, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli and Johari Bazaar.
Overnight stay at Jaipur.
DAY 05: Jaipur / Agra
Check out for an early in the morning drive to Agra en-route
visiting the old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty, i.e., Fatehpur
Sikri. Upon arrival, transfer and check-in into hotel. Proceed for
the city tour in the afternoon covering Taj Mahal, Red Fort and the
Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Overnight stay at Agra.
DAY 06: Agra / Varanasi
Check out for an early morning transfer to the airport to catch
flight to Varanasi. Upon arrival, transfer and check-in into the
hotel. Proceed for Senath in the afternoon to visit the Dhamekh
Stupa. Sarnath is the place where Buddha preached his first sermon
enshrining the principle of his teachings into laws. Overnight stay
at Varanasi.
DAY 07: In Varanasi
At dawn, enjoy boat ride on the River Ganges followed by the city
tour visiting the Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple and other
important landmarks. Overnight stay at Varanasi.
DAY 8 and 9: Varanasi / Bodhgaya
Stay at Varanasi for two nights with excursions to Rajgir/ Nalanda /
Sapta Pari Cave and Venevamas. Rajgir is an important Buddhist
pilgrimage site because the Buddha had spent 12 years at this place
and the First Buddhist Council was held here after the Buddha
attained Nirvana. Nalanda was founded in the 5th century AD and was
a well-known Center of intellectualism. Check out and proceed to
Bodhgaya on the 9th day for an overnight stay.
DAY 10: Bodhgaya / Vaishali / Kushinagar
Check out and proceed to Vaishali from Bodh Gaya. Vaishali is a very
special place to Buddhists as The Lord delivered his last sermon and
announced his impending Nirvana. See the majesty of Ashok Pillar,
Lotus Tank and Chaumukhi. Later, check out and proceed to Kushinagar
for an overnight stay.
DAY 11: Kushinagar / Lumbini
In the morning, visit the Mahanirvana Temple, the modern Japan/Sri
Lanka Buddhist Center and monasteries. Check out and proceed to
Lumbini for an overnight stay.
DAY 12: Lumbini / Kapilvastu / Sravasti / Balrampur
In the morning, visit the Ashoka's Pillar, Mayadevi Temple, the
ruins of an old monastery and some new stupas. In the afternoon,
proceed to Balrampur en-route visiting Sravasti. At Sravasti, you
will see the extensive ruins of the ancient city and Jetavana
Monastery. Check out and proceed to Balrampur for an overnight stay.
DAY 13: Balrampur / Lucknow
In the morning, proceed for the city tour. Later, continue drive to
Lucknow. On arrival, check-in into hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 14: Lucknow / Delhi
In the morning, proceed for the city tour to see the Imambara, Rumi
Darwaza. Later, transfer to the airport to board the flight to
Delhi. On arrival, transfer and check-in into the hotel for an
overnight stay.
DAY 15: Departure Delhi
After breakfast, the entire day at leisure. In the evening, transfer
to airport for a return flight.
